Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry is a series of ladies’ teams or committees that fulfill a variety of ministry needs in our congregation. They include a team for visitation of needy members, a welcome committee for people new to our congregation, a team that prays for missionaries, another that cares for students and those connected to the military, a committee that organizes our annual ladies’ retreat, a committee for providing funeral meals, another that arranges meals for those in need, a committee that takes care of our kitchen, another that arranges refreshments, and a nursery team. There is scope for all our ladies to be involved in the ministry of one or other of these teams.

The ladies’ retreat takes place in the fall. The retreat is held at a local conference center or some years at our church, with a guest speaker opening God’s word.
